Katy Perry has endured an immensely successful run in the Billboard charts recently, her six-week #1 single streak with California Gurls only coming to an end this week at the hands of Eminem & Rihanna.

What better way for her to fight back than to premiere her second single (and title track) from her new sophomore album Teenage Dream. While I’m not sure that it will reach the record breaking heights of her previous single, it’s clear to hear that the track is easily accessible and arguably more relatable.

Expect to still be hearing this late into Autumn. Teenage Dream is available to buy via iTunes now, and the album will soon follow on August 24.
