 
Katy Perry absolutely reeks of desperation right now. She has enlisted Missy Elliot to help her try and secure the fifth #1 single off of her sophomore album Teenage Dream; in the process potentially tying the record for most US #1 singles from one album, an amazing feat held by the legendary Michael Jackson with his seminal album Bad.
I’ve got news for Katy though. It doesn’t count in my eyes if you accomplish the feat by releasing a song that wasn’t on the original release. That’s cheating.
