Jess Mills has been killing it recently with the release of her impressive singles Vultures and Live For What I’d Die For, but incredibly she’s managed to step it up a notch with her latest effort Pixelated People which got its premiere earlier on Radio 1 thanks to Toddla T.
It came as a surprise to me when I found out that Sam Frank was behind the boards on this one, but I’m a fan of his solo work and his production is normally pretty decent. I have to say though that he has outdone himself with the instrumental for Pixelated People. This is a stone cold tune.
If this doesn’t make serious inroads on the UK singles chart when it gets released on February 12th then there’s something seriously going wrong with this country.

Update: Not sure how I missed this the first time round but Jess has also recently done an amazing cover of Chase & Status‘s anthemic End Credits (which I think was from her Live For What I’d Die For EP). Check it out below.
