On Friday night Jakwob was a guest on Annie Mac‘s Special Delivery feature for her Radio 1 show, and he brought in a brand new single called “Somebody New” which features the vocals of Tiffani Juno. Jakwob is somewhat of a specialist at picking out unsigned outstanding female vocalists, and this track is no exception.

Following up from his previous smash “Fade“, James has now signed to Shy FX‘s Digital Soundboy label (who we missed out on seeing on Friday thanks to the inept XOYO staff, many thanks!), and is seemingly going from strength to strength. Remixes to still to come from the likes of Dismantle, Paul Woolford’s Special Request, Shy FX and a Jakwob VIP. Exciting.
