I honestly can’t keep track with the release schedule of Enter Shikari‘s singles and albums these days but generally when they premiere a new record I’m more than happy to give it a listen. They did just that this morning when they gave the exclusive play of their new single Arguing With Thermometers (don’t look at me, I’ve got no idea) to Zane Lowe’s temporary prime-time Radio 1 breakfast show.

The thing I love about Enter Shikari is that they have both the talent and technical prowess to make total soundclash records like Arguing With Thermometers seem like a totally naturally occurring event.

There’s elements of electro, dubstep, indie rock, screamo and heavy metal all on board here which generally would be a recipe for disaster, but they pull it off with such a cheeky swagger that it’s hard not to be impressed.
