Yesterday I was lucky enough to go and see Azealia Banks at the Hoxton Bar & Grill which turned out to be an absolutely fantastic night of music. One of the major highlights for me was her support act Dems, who totally destroyed my initial skepticism of them before they had even reached the end of their first song.

Dems are a London-based three-piece of multi-instrumentalists who lined up in front of me last night playing off of a drum machine, a couple of midi controllers and a Gibson Les Paul. I was instantly impressed by the quality of their live performance, but it was the music itself that I was very quickly sold on.
