After Coldplay‘s promo single “Midnight” dropped last week to critical acclaim, the band have followed up with the release of the official first single form their forthcoming sixth studio album called “Ghost Stories“.
Coldplay normally come all guns blazing with their comeback single, but this is a little more subdued – which we like. There’s a little bit of RHCP guitar in this one, together with the unmistakable falsetto of Chris Martin, and they combine superbly.
Pre-orders for Ghost Stories are already available on iTunes, and those who purchase the album will be able to get a copy of “Magic” today.
