Let You Go has been confirmed as the latest single by dancefloor duo Chase & Status, which will be taken from an as of yet untitled album.
This track yet again features another X-Factor ‘reject’ (I have to be careful calling them rejects as they seem to be getting more work than some of the previous winners), who seems to have bounced back amazingly by landing himself a career defining cameo.
The 17 year old was knocked out of the competition in 2008, but seems to have taken the setback in his stride, and for someone of such a young age, his vocals are sounding very mature.
Chase & Status have channeled a ‘new sound’ on this latest single, opting to go with a more gospel style of vocal to compliment their anthemic instrumental, and, as usual, it works.
I don’t think there is a release date for the single yet, but it will be nice to get our hands on a higher quality version as soon as possible.
