We have been closely monitoring Wayward‘s music catalogue, especially since their trophy signing to the ever-powerful Black Butter Records. Today they have unleashed the “Ugetsu” EP, which for the uneducated apparently means “fantasy” although judging by my own googlefu I don’t remain convinced (edit: got confirmation from the boys themselves). Anyway, enough about that, we’re here for the music. This is a fantastic collection of 6-tracks which really solidifies the duo as one of the most forward thinking dance acts in the UK right now.
Don’t expect to slam this one on pre-rave, I found myself floating away on a number of these tracks.
