This year has been a busy one for Jamie Smith as well as Romy Madley Croft as they have dabbled in several other musical projects outside of their main band commitments. They have now returned to recording new material for The xx however, with this new demo track called Open Eyes being posted by the band online a few days ago.
Jamie had previously mentioned that club music will definitely have an influence on the next record, but I for one can’t see there being any kind of link on this track.
