The buildup to SZA‘s debut album release “Z” seems to have come and gone really quickly, with today marking the leak of the album onto the internet ahead of its proper release tomorrow (8th April). One of the highlights I think people were looking forward to was the brand new feature from labelmate Kendrick Lamar on SZA’s most recent dreampop single “Babylon“.
Although it doesn’t sound to me like the vocals have been mixed properly, at least we don’t see a reappearance of shouty Kendrick on this one. Remember to grab the album tomorrow, as it’s full of quality from start to finish.
