It’s real heartening to know that the UK has so many strong female singer/songwriters on the come up at the moment, all with their own personalities and eccentricities. Amongst my favourites is Sonia Stein who has been working closely with Liam Howe (who has previously worked wonders with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Adele, and Marina and the Diamonds) on her forthcoming 4-track EP called “Symbol“.
We’ve already heard “Waiting” which we fell in love with, and now we have the equally delicious “Closure“. Probably worth checking her out live when she plays at 19:00 @ The Star, 47 Chester Road, London N19 5DF. Be there.
