I got an advanced preview of Shontelle’s new album No Gravity last night and this song was definitely one of the standout tracks. DJ Made Me Do It has a real relaxed vibe to it whilst still remaining a track that you can really dance to. It reminded me of a less annoying version of American Boy.

Asher Roth also spits a few bars towards the end of the song and he doesn’t overdo it which is good – his voice is well suited to DJ Made Me Do It.

I have to admit that I haven’t really listened too much to Shontelle’s music before, but this track has gone a long way to changing my mind. Shontelle’s album is released on Monday 20th September, make sure you grab a copy.
