We have been patiently waiting for SBTRKT‘s sophomore album (“Wonder Where We Will Land” for a long time now, so we are pleased to announce that the wait is officially over with the unveiling of the first single from said album called “New Dorp, New York“. SBTRKT strangely started recording his brand new album off the coast of Essex, on an uninhabited island which housed his studio.
“New Dorp, New York” was written and recorded alongside Vampire Weekend lead singer Ezra Koenig, and definitely sounds different to anything that we found on his debut. Take a listen to the track below and let us know what you think.
