For some reason as soon as I pressed play on this new Ryan Hemsworth single I was ready to hate it, but once the half minute mark ticked over I was washed with a sense of relief that quickly bloomed into sheer joy. Ryan is one of those producers that can literally tackle any kind of genre and absolutely nail it. We’re not sure what this would be classified as but we frankly don’t care.
His choice of sounds on “Snow In Newark” is simply stunning, setting the scene so well that you can’t help floating away with the lyrics. What an opener for his album.
