We have previously bemoaned the fact that Little Boots‘ hadn’t strung together a proper set of releases since 2009, but today she announced the forthcoming release of her sophomore album “Nocturnes” by giving away this new track “Motorway” as a free download.

Judging by the production credits on the new release she is surrounding herself with a talented list of producers which includes the likes of: Ariel Rechtshaid, Magnus Lidehäll, Rick Nowels, and Jeppe Laursen. Hopefully the delayed release has helped her cultivate a sound that could carve a niche into the slightly saturated female singer/songwriter market.
