Above you will notice the official artwork for Linkin Park’s eagerly awaited album A Thousand Suns. Interesting.
Below you will be able to listen to track #10 from the album Wretches And Kings, which I think you will find equally as interesting, if not more.
Zane Lowe reckoned that this track brings a “fresh new sound to the album”, but I can’t help feeling that this sounds like something that could have been from their Points of Authority era.
There are some obvious differences though and I definitely don’t think it would fit in particularly well on either Hybrid Theory or Reanimation. For example Chester seems to have adopted a Jamaican accent on the delivery of his lyrics, which although slightly odd, is highly listenable.
I’ve got great faith for the rest of the new material on A Thousand Suns as I quite like this, probably more than their single The Catalyst in fact.
