We haven’t had any new studio material since Just Jack dropped his third studio album “All Night Cinema” back in 2009, but it looks like he is ready to make a proper return to music as yesterday he debuted a new, free 4 track release called the “Rough/Ready EP“.
“Most of this music was recorded at home and, for the first time, I mixed the songs myself. They are a little lo-fi and intentionally not ‘radio’ or ‘singles’. I tried to make them sound warm and dusty and natural.”
This free gift comes ahead of his tentatively titled fourth studio album “Sexy R’n’B“, which will drop some time later this year. For now though this will definitely do!
