A few days ago we posted up a Hurts cover of Kylie Minogue’s classic Confide In Me, and judging by the feedback we received it went down amazingly well.

Unfortunately for Hurts it seems that their debut album Happiness has leaked onto the Internet nearly two weeks before the official release date, which is a genuine shame as I think it will impact quite heavily on their first week sales. For a band with such huge future potential, this comes as quite a heavy blow.

Whoever looks after them at RCA seriously needs to reconsider who they dish out promo albums to in the future.

In more positive news, the band’s morale should be boosted slightly by the recent promotion they received for Wonderful Life on Kanye West’s official blog (which I’d imagine has unique visitor numbers well into millions per month).

Kylie Minogue has also got involved too, re-tweeting a recent blog post which contained the full audio from their collaborative track Devotion. We are taking that as free reign to do the same, whilst also pointing out that there will be much better songs to sample when it officially drops on Monday 6th.
