I love the Foo Fighters, they are an absolutely epic band and they put on such a great live performance too. As far as this album goes I don’t think anyone is expecting much from it, there are 2 previously unreleased songs and an acoustic studio version of “Everlong”. Of course this is an essential purchase for fans who do not own their previous albums, but for people like me who have all of them already it’s probably not worth spending the money.
Don’t get me wrong the two new tracks “Wheels” and “Word Forward” are pretty good, but it doesn’t make sense financially to buy the whole thing. They are clearly releasing one of the compilation albums that they are tied into by their record label. Take a listen to the new tracks below though:
