I think we were all disappointed by the single releases so far from the “MMLP2“. From this era we have had “Bezerk“, “Survival“, “Rap God“, and “The Monster“, whereas in the year 2k we had “The Real Slim Shady“, “The Way I Am“, and “Stan“. No comparison really.
This hasn’t set him up well for the release of his new album, as most fans are now going in with their expectations as low they were during “Relapse“. Maybe that’s the plan though, as by all accounts the album cuts are a lot better than what we have been presented with so far.
Case in point is the seven minute intro track “Bad Guy“, which will bring the nostalgia flooding back to your ears around the four-minute mark. Enjoy.
