My mind forgets how we first came about Emerson Jay, but the talented four-piece (fronted by Jared Gulden) from Pittsburgh has just dropped his debut EP today, so we’re going to focus on that for now. Inventively titled “The EP“, this 6-track release will take you on a dreamy synthpop journey that you will never want to end. All of the tracks on “The EP” are solid as hell, the only thing that could be improved is the crispness of production. In the right hands with a punchier sound, this release would sound immaculate.
Maybe that’s part of the charm though?
