For some reason A-Trak has had a lot of trouble putting out music on time recently, first there was the blowback from Danny Brown over the delay of “Old“, and then we have had the age-old saga surrounding Duck Sauce‘s debut album. For fuck sake, there’s still no word on when it’s going to be released, and in fact he promised it to us back in Spring of 2013.

What the duo has done today is to drop a four track EP called “Duck Droppings” to at least tide us over for now. Although I was expecting these tracks to be throwaway cast-off’s from the album (which they still might be), surprisingly they aren’t shit at all (excuse the pun). In fact they are all catchy as fuck.

This is classic Van Helden with a sprinkling of A-Trak tha gawd.
