After listening to the whole of the new Tron: Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D album, I can safely say that it is a great success. However I thought that I should highlight two of my favourite tracks just in case a few of you are still sitting on the fence about whether you should be buying it or not.
The first is by Pretty Lights who did an epic remix of Kanye West‘s single All of The Lights a few weeks ago, and their style on Solar Sailer is fairly similar, big beats and a strong selection of synths – very nice.
The second is by The Crystal Method who were given the tricky task of reworking the 01:37 Jeff Bridges monologue The Grid. I think they did a great job, and it’s a testament to them that they managed to stand out on the album considering the wealth of talented artists on show.
