As CHVRCHES slowly ramp up the releases in anticipation of their forthcoming debut album “The Bones of What You Believe“, Huw Stephens was on call to deliver the world première of a newly reworked “The Mother We Share“. I’ve personally got no idea what the fascination is with labels forcing their artists to rework their most popular singles leading up to album releases, but we continue to see it happen time and time again.

Thankfully it hasn’t changed much, but I still think it’s moronic to mess around with songs that fans have already become very familiar with. It never sounds right.

Anyway, I am praying to god that these guys make a huge impact on the album charts come September, as was evidenced last week by AlunaGeorge, blog hype doesn’t necessarily transfer over into album chart success.
