Vybz Kartel may have been one of dancehall’s leading players for the past decade but he only achieved major crossover appeal in 2009 when he appeared on Major Lazer‘s smash hit Pon De Floor.

It’s clear that he isn’t keen to pander to his new found audience though as his new material retains the characteristics that brought him domestic prominence.
