Master Shortie never really lived up to the hype that followed his inclusion on the BBC’s Sound of 2009 list but that hasn’t halted his ambitions of becoming a household name.

His second single Dead End was one of his catchiest numbers, and following that successful collaboration with Labrinth he has been back in the studio with him again to cook up some more potential hits.

Master Shortie is about to release his DJ Benzi hosted mixtape Studying Abroad very soon, and Social Networks is the first track to drop from it.
