There was definitely a mixed reaction from Linkin Park fans to the release of their new single The Catalyst a few weeks ago, but maybe the official music video will be able to sway those doubters?
The video was directed by Linkin Park’s turntablist Joseph Hahn, who is probably the best candidate to visualise their change in musical direction.
This post-apocalyptic video for The Catalyst serves as a definite statement to the world about their new sound, essentially acting as a rallying war cry to their fans after their last controversial album release, Minutes to Midnight.
Apparently their new album A Thousand Suns sounds pretty good though, so you guys should be very excited!
