Thank fuck that the last music video that we saw for Let The Sun Shine wasn’t actually the official one. This one actually has proper production values and looks more like a genuine effort to promote the song.

Although saying that, this version of the music video doesn’t show anything groundbreaking or unique either, and it looks a lot like recent offerings from Loick Essien, Tinie Tempah etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all hiring the same director.

I’d like to see Let The Sun Shine do well in the charts, but I think Labrinth’s record label has chosen the wrong week to release the track. He will be going up against single releases from: 3OH!3, Kylie Minogue, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Janelle Monáe, Jimmy Eat World, Mark Ronson, Morrissey, MGMT, Tinie Tempah, Enrique Iglesias, Nas and Selena Gomez. Quite a list.

Anyway I personally think it is a worthy purchase, so go out and buy Let The Sun Shine on the 26th September.
