Kelis has just premiered the official music video for her new Flesh Tone single 4th of July (Fireworks).

The stylish video was co-directed by fashion photographer Rankin (Britney, Madonna, Kylie) as well as Kelis herself.

It is similar to the video for Acapella in places, but Kelis does a wonderful job of creating a euphoric atmosphere on a fairly low budget. There are some great visual effects, and naturally we get to see lots of fireworks.

She bloody needs to get rid of that nose ring though, it’s horrible.
