Call me old fashioned, but I still find it pretty mental that artists are now releasing music videos after songs have been released and charted. But that is exactly what Katy Perry has done with her official music video for E.T., her 4th Billboard #1 in a row from her hugely popular album #1 Teenage Dream.

Of course she may not have made it to the top again without the help of Kanye West who also makes an appearance in the high-budget out of this world video.

However, huge congratulations must go to Katy for her magificent achievement, she’s the first artist to achieve such a feat in the last six years and only the second female to do this since Mariah Carey‘s self-titled debut in 1990.
