Katy B has finally premiered the official music video for her collaboration with Ms. Dynamite on her new single Lights On. It has also been revealed that the release date for the single is December 13th, so it stands a decent chance of being this year’s Christmas #1.

I think I kind of prefer the alternative video that they made of Lights On, which was shot using footage from this year’s Notting Hill Carnival, but it was obvious that they would have to make a big budget affair too.

Enjoy this video while you can, it seems that Katy B’s record label really doesn’t like people giving their artists free promotion unless it has been officially vetoed by themselves (a tactic that is sure to pay dividends in the future).
