Having secured the #2 spot in this year’s BBC Sound of 2011 Poll, James Blake now has quite a lot of pressure on his shoulders to live up to the media’s predictably over-hyped expectations.
Blake’s third single The Wilhelm Scream is due on March 7th, and it will be the true test of whether he has any kind of crossover public appeal.
I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where he charts.
