Florence + the Machine also performed at Glastonbury on Friday, treating the crowd to some brand new material from their upcoming sophomore album.
Included in the Glasto set was new track Strangeness and Charm, which has been floating around the Internet for a while now. And after a good listen, it seems as though the new album should shape to be as good, if not better than her debut album Lungs.
Besides Strangeness and Charm, Florence also performed Heavy In My Arms live for the first time ever. The song is taken from the latest Twilight official soundtrack, so the chances are that it might not make it onto her new album, but it’s well worth a listen anyway.
That performance was then followed by a cover of the Fleetwood Mac classic The Chain, which Florence said would be the first and last time she ever plays it live.
