Flight Facilities, also known as Australia’s finest fake pilots and responsible for some of the catchiest, grooviest dance tracks have released visuals for their new track “Clair De Lune”. Artfully directed by David Ma (who had previously directed the Foals’ Spanish Sahara video), the almost 8 min long video paints a picture of loneliness and nostalgia within shots of two friends (or lovers) out on a reckless night.
The track itself is Flight Facilities’ most understated and dark production with subtle touches of melody to back Christine Hoberg’s searching yet beautiful vocals that matches the video’s tone perfectly. It’s very different from the band’s previous energetic & dance-worthy tracks, however that doesn’t make it any less awesome. Check it out below:
