Clare Maguire decided to let her fans choose what her second single would be from her new album Light After Dark, and they overwhelmingly voted for the anthemic track The Shield And The Sword.
The official music video for the new single hit the net just a few minutes ago, and it sees Clare adopting a slightly different style that appears to be a cross between early-era Lady Gaga, Adele and Marina & The Diamonds.
Unfortunately there is a distinct lack of Shields and/or Swords in this video, which blew my hopes of there being some kind of epic battle, but don’t get me wrong it’s very visually pleasing nonetheless.
