Chris Brown decided that it was his turn to give the world yet another Michael Jackson tribute, and the 2010 BET Awards was the perfect stage for him to do it.

During the performance, the Best Male R&B Artist nominee wore Michael’s trademark fedora and spangled glove as he tried to emulate his signature moves. He did a pretty impressive job of it. Well, that was until he came to the final song of the medley.

The 21–year-old was overcome with emotion towards the end of his tribute, breaking into tears and crumpling to the stage as he performed Man in the Mirror.

The reason for his weeping is as of yet unclear, but my theory is that while analysing the lyrics of the song, he realised just how much of a tosser he really is.

Nevertheless it was a great performance, watch it above. Oh, and well done to Jermaine Jackson for possibly the shittest introduction I have seen at an awards show.
