Once a year the good people at BBC Radio 1 decide to run their free Big Weekend event in the UK. Acting as a precursor to many of the major festival events that take place in the summer, it’s a nice way to ease ourselves back into a fantastic period of open air live music.
Fortunately most of the performances are caught on video, which means there is a wealth of content that I can show you from yesterday’s performances alone. However, bad news for anyone outside the UK as I don’t think these videos can be watched in your country. If it was only one or two videos I would have no problem hosting it somewhere myself, but since there is so much to show you I simply don’t have the patience or an internet connection capable of doing so.
