I tried not to watch any of the Brit Awards last night as I still think it’s a total sham of a show, but I did manage to catch Adele‘s performance of her new single Someone Like You, and I’m pretty glad I did.

Her performance was stunning, so much so that she brought a pretty rowdy crowd to their knees rendering them so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. It was also quite touching to see her getting quite worked up towards the end of the performance, it’s nice to know that some artists still pour their heart and soul into their songs.
