Literally minutes after Drake dropped his stunning new single “Hold On, We’re Going Home” I was stanning for research on the mysterious entity of Majid Jordan, who had been a major force behind the creation of the track.
Early information from the /r/HipHopHeads board on Reddit indicated that Majid Jordan was infact a duo from Toronto comprising of Majid al-Maskati and Jordan Ullman. They were formerly known as Good People, but were recently signed up by Drake‘s fledgling OVO label.
My interest was piqued when it was also revealed that they had been signed off the back of their “Afterhours EP“, yet my hopes were dashed in the same instant when it was revealed that the YT videos had been taken prior to the Drake single release.
Anyway, I’ve left it for a few days and the Internet has once again delivered by revealing the “Afterhours EP” in its full glory, which you can stream below. The EP is a real fucking nice blend of laid back R&B which I know plently of you will be able to groove to with ease. Enjoy!
