Friday night saw one-man-hitmaker Calvin Harris grace the stage of Radio 1’s annual Big Weekend, who played a particularly crowd-pleasing set to the Londonderry assembly, which drew heavily on material from his third studio album “18 Months“.
It was a fairly understandable decision to put Mr. Harris at the top of the bill on the festival’s opening night, which will kick off a slew of dates for the Scotsman, which will take in (standardly) Ibiza, Hungary and a homecoming show at T In The Park.
