As we’ve mentioned several times during this week already, The Weeknd and his touring band we’re down at the world famous Maida Vale studios on Monday, laying down a four track session for Zane Lowe‘s Radio 1 show. We were especially looking forward to this being broadcast, as it’s probably the highest quality live recorded vocals that we have heard from The Weeknd so far in his career.

Included in the four track recording was the obligatory “Wicked Games“, as well as: “The Zone“, “The Knowing” & “Montreal“.

This session was pretty incredible from start to finish, and credit has to go to the BBC for managing to secure this in the first place. Make sure you go there to show support and to check out the full performance.
