In what came as somewhat of a surprise, Labrinth joined Welsh rockers Lostprophets for their Radio 1 Live Lounge session today at Maida Vale. The two entities came together to perform Labrinth’s smash hit single “Earthquake“, combining their trademark metal sound with a little help from Lab on the vocals.
I’m a real big fan of this performance, and it could have been amazing, except for the fact that someone really let the side down with the microphone levels. At some points it’s very hard to even hear Ian Watkins or Labrinth at all, which puts an unfortunate blemish on this otherwise impressive performance.
