Back in January, Lana Del Rey recorded a Live Lounge session at the Maida Vale studios for Fearne Cotton‘s Radio 1 show. She of course gave a rendition of her ‘brand new’ single “Blue Jeans” as well as delivering a cover of Kasabian’s “Goodbye Kiss“.

I mean it’s a good cover and all, but the best Live Lounge performances I’ve heard are where artists tackle songs from outside their genre and comfort zone, and I think Lana has played it too safe here, which is disappointing.
