Sometimes when Radio 1 get major celebrities in for a Live Lounge session they decide to go the whole hog and record it in front of a live audience. Today was one of those days as Katy Perry decided to grace Fearne Cotton‘s Radio 1 show with her presence in support of the re-release of her “Teenage Dream” album.

She performed her new single “Part of Me“, as well as her previous hits: “The One That Got Away“, “Firework” and “Thinking of You“. The real surprise however was when she took to playing the mandatory cover song, which turned out to be Kanye West & Jay-Z‘s most popular song from “Watch The Throne” – “Niggas In Paris“.

Obviously Katy Perry bitched out of reciting the lyrics verbatim so a more apt title of the cover would be “Ninjas In Paris“. I’m still not sure in my mind whether this is any good, or simply this. What do you guys think? Hit or miss?
