A few months ago rumour spread on the Internet that Justice were preparing a new live album to serve as the follow up their immensely popular “A Cross The Universe” release. The album name was apparently set to be “Access All Arenas” with the recording having taken place during their gig at Les Arènes de Nîmes on 19 July 2012.
Strangely, a few days ago a slightly roughed up soundboard recording appeared on SoundCloud advertising itself as the real deal. Strange in the fact that recordings like this very, very rarely see the light of day, let alone staying on SoundCloud without being subject to a take-down notice for 15 days and counting.
Having listened to this recording 3 times today, it definitely sounds like the real deal (albeit with some audio defects here and there) but there’s no way of telling where it was taken from as it is pure soundboard output (i.e. no crowd noise). What I do know is that it’s a fucking fantastic set and it gives me the same sense of excitement and exhilaration as I had when I saw them in London last February.
I literally cannot wait to get my hands on the finished product, which will hopefully be with us within a few months time.
