Unless you have been avoiding music media outlets for the last month, then you will probably have at some point been subjected to material from James Blake‘s brand new sophomore album “Overgrown“. The PR machine has been working well for the talented young London artist, and that culminated earlier tonight when he stepped into the Radio 1 studio to broadcast his recently recorded live session from Maida Vale.

He delivered stunning performances of recent singles “Retrograde“, “Overgrown” as well as a cover of Digital Mystikz “Anti War Dub“. In his own words he believes that these live recordings were as good, if not better, than the final cuts that made the album.
