Earlier this week Radio 1Xtra finished their 1Xtra Live tour of the UK where they bought some of the biggest acts around to four of the biggest cities in the UK. Some of the artists who performed included:Â Trey Songz, Kendrick Lamar, Wiley, Rudimental, Plan B, Â DJ Fresh, Rita Ora, Labrinth, and Devlin.
On Wednesday night they capped off the final leg of the tour in Birmingham, where they had an impressive closing line-up of: Miguel, Disclosure, and Alicia Keys. That’s big right? The lure of seeing those three artists share the same stage was too much for me, so I found myself heading north after work on Wednesday to catch them in action.
Needless to say, the night was incredible, with all 3 acts bringing their A-Game to the rather intimate venue. Catch downloads of my three favourite performances of the night as well as full video highlights under the cut.
