After the flurry of Live Lounge performances in the first week of January, it has been a bit quiet on that front ever since. Not this week though, and with a jam packed roster to cover, Sara Cox invited Bastille into the brand new Radio 1 Live Lounge studios to perform their brand new single “Pompeii“.
The boys also took the time to deliver a simply exquisite mashup cover that took the best parts from “Niggas In Paris” by Kanye West & Jay-Z, “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars, “Diamonds” by Rihanna, and “Angels” by The xx.
The bar has officially been set for 2013. Brilliant.
