Last night I was really excited to finish work. I was going to clock off at 5:30pm, get changed, hop on a tube, head over the o2 arena, buy a beer, relax, and listen to the sounds of BANKS and The Weeknd. This dream was shattered as soon as I approached the standing ticket queue as there was a forty minute wait for entry. A forty minute wait in the queue meant no BANKS for me. No beer and no BANKS make Mark…something…something.
Tonight the flawless angel was in session for Zane Lowe (who was also supporting yesterday), where she performed “Waiting Game” and “Change“, both taken from her most recent “London” EP. She also dropped a sensational cover of The Weeknd‘s “What You Need” which was a stand-out from his seminal “House of Balloons” mixtape.
Truly glad that we nominated her as one of our chosen artists for #blogsound2014, as she has so much talent.
